An electrical contractor had been charged with carrying out a substantial amount of work, on the one site, that did not meet the requirements of the applicable Australian Standards.

The case was taken to court by the state's applicable inspection authority.
ExITS Australia acted as expert witnesses on behalf of the Defendant.

The court judgement being that a percentage of this work had been carried out by the defendant; it also being acknowledged that there was not enough adequate evidence to prove "beyond reasonable doubt" that the contractor had performed all the work in question.

The Contractors fine was significantly reduced by the court.
